Our Literacy program works with individual students at their individual reading level.  For students learning to read we work on phonemic awareness and phonics skills where the individual student is not proficient.  For students reading to learn, we work on reading strategies, fluency and vocabulary, again at each individual student level.  The sequence depends on assessment and class room observations for the individual student, even when we see students in groups.
